Beyond Paris' SightsSometimes, I wonder why I can see spirits. Don't get me wrong, I know the story about HOW I got the gift. When you're told that a shaman came by when you're two years old, saying that the spirits have guided him to you to give you the gift of spirit sight in exchange for half your physical sight, you tend to remember that story. But the 'why' still escapes me. It's not like I can do anything with this sight and, developed later, hearing. I mean, sure I can talk to spirits, but that's about it. Nothing really useful. My mind wandered to when I was leaving the building and thought that today was a nice day. Too nice, as if someone's happiness was sacrificed to make the sun shine brighter. At the time I laughed the thought off as reading too much, both online stories and into the weather. Now, I'm starting to get superstitious again.
